Polish Promotion Days
On 25 – 27/10/2018, the Polish Promotion Days took place in Barcelona.
The celebrations began with a presentation about West Pomeranian Voivodeship conducted by Iwona Malecka from Catalan-Polish Cultural Association and Katarzyna Opalinska from the Catalan-Polish Chamber of Science and Economics.

Afterwards, Dawid Wieczorek, founder, and partner of Global Exact made a speech on Catalan-Polish scientific and business cooperation.
The first day of the celebrations ended with an official opening of a photo exhibition entitled “Poland: a country that accepts challenges” with the participation of the author – Marcin Bielecki who for many years has been documenting social and economic changes in Poland. His works are appreciated and awarded in many competitions.
“The photographs are a record of many years of political change in Poland. From a poor country that won its fight against the communist regime, to a country that is getting rich, a country full of technological and architectural achievements.”
Currently, Poland belongs to the group of the 25 most developed countries in the world. With many achievements in the field of science, technology, and culture. Many Poles represent their country abroad, winning prizes from various categories. Poland focuses on innovations and native technologies valued around the world.
The culmination of the Polish Promotion Days was the performance of the folklore group “Polanie” from the Amicale Polonaise en Pays Catalan association in Perpignan.
