Renata Marciniak is a professor accredited by The National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation of Spain, ANECA. She holds a PhD in Education with the International Doctoral Research Component and Special Award for Doctoral Studies from the Autonomus University of Barcelona (UAB) from which she also holds a master’s degree in Research in Education. Moreover, she holds a PhD in Economics and Management from the University of Economics in Kraków (Poland) and a Bachelor’s degree and a Master`s degree in Company Organization and Management and a Postgraduate degree in Specialist in Virtual Learning Environments from the Virtual Educa Teacher Training Institute (Argentina). She was a professor at different Polish, Mexican and Spanish universities. Currently, she is a collaborating professor at the UManresa-Fundaciò Universitària del Bages (FUB, Spain). Her work experience also includes management in small and medium enterprises and management tasks in different public organizations in Poland. She is the author of two books and she has published a number of articles in impact journals (including JCR – Journal Citation Reports) about education research, quality of online education and business management (in Spanish, English and Polish). She participated as a speaker in several international congresses and conferences, as well as in several international research projects. She is a member of scientific international associations and organizations. Her research interests include management in virtual education, e-learning technologies, quality of education and evaluation model for e-learning quality in higher education.
